Our Work & Media Standards

At Sentinel SkyWorks, our work is defined not only by what we capture—but by how, why, and how truthfully it is represented.

We are a professional real estate media and aerial services company built on accuracy, compliance, and Truth in Advertising. While our portfolio is actively being developed, our standards, workflows, and professional expectations are already firmly established and consistently applied.

This page outlines the principles that guide every project we capture, process, and deliver.

A Standards-Driven Approach to Real Estate Media

Sentinel SkyWorks was founded and is operated by a licensed Associate Broker and REALTOR® with more than 18 years of industry experience, providing a deep understanding of the ethical, legal, and professional standards governing real estate marketing.

Our media is created with a clear focus on:

  • Truth in advertising

  • Consumer perception and clarity

  • MLS and brokerage compliance

  • Disclosure-forward visual practices

  • Professional risk reduction for agents, brokers, and property owners

We believe real estate media should enhance a listing without misrepresenting it.

Accuracy First — Always

Every image, video, and aerial deliverable is produced to present a true and accurate visual representation of the property.

We do not:

  • Exaggerate property size, features, or condition

  • Use misleading camera angles or aerial perspectives

  • Imply amenities, access, boundaries, or improvements that do not exist

  • Alter imagery in ways that could confuse or mislead a reasonable consumer

Our goal is to help listings perform while protecting the integrity of the transaction.

  • All aerial operations are conducted in accordance with FAA Part 107 regulations, airspace requirements, and applicable safety protocols.

    Our aerial media practices include:

    • Standard airspace and safety checks

    • Context-appropriate flight paths and perspectives

    • Accurate depiction of surroundings and property context

    • Clear distinction between illustrative visuals and exact representations

Aerial imagery is a powerful tool—but only when used responsibly and accurately.

  • When virtual staging, renderings, or illustrative visuals are used, they are handled with clear intent and proper disclosure.

    Our standards include:

    • Transparent identification of virtual or illustrative content

    • No presentation of staged or rendered imagery as existing conditions

    • Ethical use of enhancements to aid visualization—not mislead buyers

We design media that supports marketing objectives without creating compliance risk.

  • Our editing workflows are intentionally conservative and professional.

    They focus on:

    • Color correction and exposure balancing

    • Geometric correction and perspective control

    • Clean, natural presentation consistent with MLS expectations

    • Avoidance of over-editing or unrealistic enhancements

Final deliverables are optimized for MLS use, digital marketing, and professional presentation.

  • Our project portfolio is currently in development and will be published as completed projects are approved for release by our clients.

    We prioritize:

    • Client consent and approval

    • Accurate representation over rushed publication

    • Curated examples that reflect our standards

Rather than posting placeholder imagery, we are building a portfolio that reflects the quality, ethics, and professionalism Sentinel SkyWorks stands for.

  • What “Truth in Advertising” Means at Sentinel SkyWorks

Truth in Advertising is a foundational principle of the REALTOR® Code of Ethics—specifically Article 12, which requires REALTORS® to present a true picture in all advertising, marketing, and representations of property.

At Sentinel SkyWorks, Truth in Advertising means visual media must enhance understanding without misrepresenting reality. Imagery should accurately reflect the property’s condition, features, scale, and context so consumers can make informed decisions with confidence.

How This Applies to Real Estate Media

Real estate imagery carries regulatory, ethical, and legal implications. Certain visual enhancements—such as virtual staging, decluttering, sky replacement, seasonal changes, or AI-generated elements—may be appropriate only when properly disclosed and used with restraint.

Failure to do so can expose REALTORS® to:

    • MLS violations

    • Ethics complaints

    • Consumer complaints or misrepresentation claims

    It is important to remember:
The REALTOR® holds the license—not the software or media platform.

    Our Commitment to Ethical Representation

Sentinel SkyWorks is founded and operated by a licensed Associate Broker and REALTOR®. We understand firsthand the obligations imposed by the Code of Ethics, MLS rules, and state licensing laws.

    Our workflows are designed to:

    • Prioritize accurate capture at the source

    • Use AI and post-production tools as assists, not substitutes

    • Avoid material misrepresentation of property condition or features

    • Support proper disclosure when visual modifications are used

    Why This Matters

Technology will continue to evolve—but ethical standards do not. Truth in Advertising protects:

    • Consumers

    • REALTORS® and their licenses

    • Brokers and brokerages

    • The credibility of the real estate profession

Sentinel SkyWorks exists to support agents with professional media that is not only visually compelling, but also accurate, compliant, and defensible.

If you have questions about ethical real estate media, MLS compliance, or responsible use of AI-assisted editing, we welcome the conversation.
