Licensing & Usage Terms

At Sentinel SkyWorks LLC (“Sentinel SkyWorks”), we deliver premium aerial imaging, mapping, photography, videography, and digital media services across real estate, commercial, inspection, insurance, architectural, engineering, agricultural, and municipal sectors—guided by professional standards and Truth in Advertising.

These Licensing Terms explain how clients may use delivered media and geospatial products once final payment has been received.

1. License Granted Upon Final Payment

Upon receipt of full payment, Sentinel SkyWorks grants the client a:

  • Non-exclusive

  • Non-transferable

  • Fully paid

  • Project-specific

  • Revocable (if terms are violated)

license to use the purchased content (“Licensed Media”) within the scope of the original project and in a manner consistent with Truth in Advertising and applicable regulations.

“Licensed Media” includes:

  • Aerial and ground photography

  • Videography and cinematography

  • Thermal / infrared imagery

  • Spatial maps, orthomosaics, elevation models, and stitched georeferenced imagery

  • Property boundary illustrations, overlays, and custom mapping

  • 2D and 3D floor plans, renderings, and animations

  • Inspection imagery and commercial imaging

  • Any deliverables created specifically for the client

2. Permitted Uses (What Clients May Do)

Upon final payment, clients may use Licensed Media as follows, provided usage remains accurate, ethical, and does not materially misrepresent the subject property or conditions.

2.1 Business & Operational Use

  • Real estate marketing (MLS, brochures, social media, websites), subject to MLS rules and disclosure requirements

  • Inspection or insurance reporting (visual reference only)

  • Architectural or engineering planning reference (non-certified)

  • Contractor documentation

  • Commercial marketing for small businesses

  • Municipal or emergency operations and assessment

  • Public display as part of normal marketing operations

2.2 Internal & External Use

  • Internal use within the client’s organization

  • Sharing with direct clients, stakeholders, or decision-makers

  • Inclusion in presentations, proposals, or reports

  • Branding or advertising use consistent with the purchased service category

2.3 Print & Digital Use

  • Print brochures, flyers, postcards

  • Upload photos, videos, and maps to digital platforms

  • Publish floor plans, renderings, and inspection visuals

3. Prohibited Uses (What Clients May Not Do)

The following restrictions apply after final payment to protect Sentinel SkyWorks’ intellectual property and ensure Truth in Advertising compliance.

3.1 Transfer or Resale

Clients may NOT:

  • Sell, sublicense, or transfer media to another agent, brokerage, contractor, inspector, engineer, insurer, or business

  • Provide media to a third-party service provider without proper licensing

  • Allow a new listing agent to reuse real estate media without a new license

3.2 Use as Legal or Certified Documents

Clients may NOT:

  • Use orthomosaics, spatial maps, or elevation models as legal surveys

  • Use media to determine boundaries, acreage, encroachments, or legal claims

  • Use media for structural certification, engineering approvals, architectural sign-off, or appraisal determinations

3.3 Litigation Use Without Authorization

  • Media may not be used in court filings, insurance disputes, or legal evaluations without a Legal-Use License.

3.4 Misrepresentation or Alteration

Clients may NOT:

  • Remove or obscure watermarks, branding, metadata, disclaimers, or attribution

  • Modify overlays, boundary visuals, or edited imagery in a manner that misrepresents accuracy, purpose, or context

  • Use Licensed Media in a way that violates Truth in Advertising, MLS rules, or professional ethics

3.5 AI / Machine Learning Training

Clients may NOT:

  • Upload Licensed Media into AI or machine-learning training datasets

  • Use media to train AI visualization or generation tools without prior written authorization

4. Additional Licenses That May Be Required

Depending on intended use, additional licensing may be required.

4.1 Third-Party Usage License

Required for use by architects, engineers, insurers, contractors, additional agents, or other third parties not named as the original client.

4.2 Litigation / Legal-Use License

Required for use in:

  • Court proceedings

  • Property disputes

  • Insurance legal reviews

  • Boundary or encroachment-related claims

4.3 Multi-Property License

Required for real estate professionals seeking to reuse media across multiple listings or properties.

4.4 Commercial Advertising License

Required when imagery is used in large-scale or paid advertising campaigns by commercial entities.

5. Intellectual Property Ownership

All Licensed Media remains the exclusive intellectual property of Sentinel SkyWorks.

  • Licenses grant usage rights only, not ownership

  • All rights not expressly granted are fully reserved
