Licensing & Usage Terms

At Sentinel SkyWorks LLC (“Sentinel SkyWorks”), we are committed to delivering premium aerial imaging, mapping, photography, videography, and digital media services across real estate, commercial, inspection, insurance, architectural, engineering, agricultural, and municipal sectors.

These Licensing Terms explain how clients may use delivered media and geospatial products once final payment has been received.

1. License Granted Upon Final Payment

Upon full payment, Sentinel SkyWorks grants the client a:

  • Non-exclusive

  • Non-transferable

  • Fully paid

  • Project-specific

  • Revocable (if terms violated)

License to use the purchased Content (“Licensed Media”) with full-use privileges within the scope of the purchased project.

“Licensed Media” includes:

  • Aerial and ground photos

  • Videography and cinematography

  • Thermal/IR imagery

  • Spatial maps, orthomosaics, elevation models, and stitched georeferenced imagery

  • Property boundary illustrations, overlays, and custom mapping

  • 2D & 3D floor plans, renderings, animations

  • Inspection imagery and commercial imaging

  • Any deliverables created specifically for the client

2. Permitted Uses (What Clients May Do)

Once final payment is received, clients may:

2.1 Use Media for Business or Operational Purposes

  • Real estate marketing (MLS, brochures, social media, websites)

  • Inspection or insurance reporting

  • Architectural or engineering planning reference

  • Contractor documentation

  • Commercial marketing for small businesses

  • Municipal/emergency operations and assessment

  • Public display as part of normal marketing operations

2.2 Internal & External Use

  • Use media internally or with their direct clients

  • Include media in presentations, proposals, or reports

  • Share media with their staff or internal team

  • Use media for branding or advertising (depending on service category)

2.3 Print & Digital Use

  • Print brochures, flyers, postcards

  • Upload photos/videos/maps to digital platforms

  • Publish floor plans, renderings, and inspection visuals

3. Prohibited Uses (What Clients May Not Do)

These restrictions still apply after final payment, ensuring protection of Sentinel SkyWorks intellectual property.

Clients may NOT:

3.1 Transfer or Resell Content

  • Sell or license the media to another agent, brokerage, contractor, inspector, engineer, insurer, or business

  • Give or transfer media to another service provider

  • Let a new listing agent reuse real estate media without purchasing a license

3.2 Use Content as a Legal Document

  • Use orthomosaics, spatial maps, or elevation models for legal surveying

  • Use media to determine boundaries, acreage, encroachments, or legal claims

  • Use media for structural certification, engineering approvals, or architectural sign-off

3.3 Use in Litigation Without Approval

  • Use media in court filings, insurance disputes, or legal evaluations without a Legal-Use License

3.4 Remove Attribution or Modify Proprietary Elements

  • Remove watermarks, branding, metadata, disclaimers

  • Alter overlays or mapping products in ways that misrepresent their purpose

3.5 Train AI Models

  • Upload media into AI/ML training datasets

  • Use media to train AI visualization tools without written approval

4. Additional Licenses That May Be Required

Depending on the client’s intended use, an additional license may be required.

4.1 Third-Party Usage License

For architects, engineers, insurers, contractors, additional agents, or other parties who were not the original purchasing client.

4.2 Litigation / Legal-Use License

For use in:

  • Court cases

  • Property disputes

  • Insurance legal reviews

  • Boundary or encroachment-related claims

4.3 Multi-Property License

For real estate professionals who want to reuse media across multiple listings.

4.4 Commercial Advertising License

Required when small businesses or commercial entities use imagery in large-scale ad campaigns.

5. Intellectual Property Ownership

Sentinel SkyWorks retains full ownership of all media and deliverables, regardless of license type.

Licenses grant usage rights — not ownership.

All rights not expressly granted remain fully reserved.
